What is the best brand of major kitchen appliances from Lowe's?
I want to update my kitchen with new appliances and I want to get all the same name brand for each one. All my appliances are electric and the frig will be a side by side and a smooth surface for the stove. I have a microwave over the stove as well as a dishwasher, so I would prefer them to be the same name brand. Please let me know which brand is the best for all these.

How do I get the best deal on my kitchen appliances?
I am buying my first home and the appliance that are in there absolutely have to go most don't even work, let alone they are 20 years old . I want to get good stuff, but I don't need the top of the line. I want to get a good deal on my appliances, but I want to get the job done right. I work in IT so I would consider myself pretty savvy. I have searched online at various retailers, compared what a lot of models have to offer, have a general price point of what items may cost. I also went in to Home Depot, Pacific Sales, Sears, Sears Outlet, Costco, etc. So I am in San Diego and I want to buy a refrigerator, cook top 30" gas , wall oven 30" , microwave hood combo over cook top . What suggestions might everyone on here have at getting the best deal possible? Where might you recommend I shop to find the best deal? What about possible rebates, coupons, etc.? Any specific things to look out for when purchasing? Warranty? Installation? Possible or not package deal savings?What about fitment? Might I have issues with various 30" appliances fitting in where the previous Magic Chef 30" stuff is already? I have been looking for the last 1 2 weeks and the only thing I have seen that looks like I can find an ample amount of on there are Refrigerators. I can get a good deal on one of those and Washer Dryer. But buying an oven and cook top on there seems hard to find and not the kind size color I want yet .
Should I upgrade to a stainless steel refrigerator, if all of the other kitchen appliances are white?
Basically, i just want to know how much stainless steel appliances increase the value of a home. I already have a nice kitchen backsplash, granite tile countertop, and wood laminate floors , but I would like to upgrade the appliances. Is it a good idea financially? Would i get my money back when i try to resell?? Stainless steel appliances are expensive. Is it worth it?I live in a 12 year old house. How do i get my kitchen appliances back in the kitchen?
My brother in law is going to lay stone tiles for me in the kitchen, ive got to move the cooker, washing machine and fridge freezer as there are gaps down the side of each appliance so i want the tiles to go under them. How do i get them back in the kitchen without cracking or scratching the tiles, they are very heavy and its only me and him doing the lifting. any ideas?

Resale for replacing kitchen appliances...?
im thinking of putting my house on the market soon and my wife and I cant seem to agree on replacing our kitchen appliances, right now they do not match and are quite dated. I think it would be worth buying a cheap matching set of stainless appliances and she thinks we should just let them go. So I'm wondering if it would be better to replace them, not replace them, or putting a contengency in the contract for new appliances.

Duty on Kitchen appliances?
I am travelling to India U.S. Citizen , for 6 weeks and I am taking 2 kitchen appliances electrical . Is there a duty charged on that?Also, how do the airport officials know who to charge duty, as in do they x ray each bag OR are passengers responsible for declaration?
